Welcome to our Partnership

The Watford and Hertsmere School Sports Partnership is a partnership of 8 Infant, 40 Primary, 10 Secondary and 2 Special Schools across Watford, Bushey, Borehamwood and Potters Bar. The Partnership, established in 2004, is based at Queens' School, Bushey which is designated as a Specialist Sports College.

The team consists of Partnership Staff including the Partnership Development Manager (PDM), Competition Manager, Coach Manager and Partnership Administrator. In addition there are 10 School Sports Co-ordintors (SSCo) who are based at each of the Partnership Secondary Schools as well as a Primary Link Teacher (PLT) at each of the Infant, Primary and Special Schools.

The team work together to increase participation in High Quality Physical Education and School Sport through co-ordinated PE, school sport and out-of-school-hours learning activities that link with local community sports facilities, clubs and development programmes. The Partnership offers opportunities for young people to experience different sports, access higher quality coaching, engage in leadership and volunteering and take part in competition.
