Watford and Hertsmere School Sports Partnership

High 5 Netball League

The Partnership are working to organise U11 Mixed High 5 Netball as set out by England Netball. High 5 Netball allows for a fun and enjoyable game where players are encouraged to develop a range of skills as they rotate positions as well as developing as timekeepers, scorers and umpires.

In 2011 / 2012 the Partnership will be organising High 5 Netball Leagues for Primary Schools in the Partnership. The Leagues will focus on those in Years 5 and 6 and will be set up on a geographical basis. All teams will be required to play the other teams once, either home or away. All matches are to be completed during the Autumn Term.

Following the completion of the Leagues, the teams who finish top of their respective Leagues will be invited to take part in the Partnership Netball Final, which will take place in March 2012. The winning team at the Partnership Final will then progress through to the County Final which will take place in March 2012 as part of the Herts School Games Spring Finals event.

High 5 Netball Tournament

In addition to the Primary Netball Leagues the Partnership will also organise a High 5 Netball Tournament. Those finishing top of each of the Leagues will automatically be invited to this tournament and other Schools will be invited to enter. The Tournament will take place on the 14th March 2012.

The winning team at the Partnership Final will progress through to the County Final which will take place in March 2012 as part of the Herts School Games Spring Finals event.
