08.12.11 The Partnership had an extremely successful day at the first of the Herts School Games Finals days on Thursday 8th December. Schools previously finishing in first place in Partnership Tournaments represented the Partnership across various sports, competing against other Partnerships across Hertfordshire. Watford Boys (U19 Boys Table Tennis), Bushey Academy (U13 and U16 Boys Table Tennis) and Watford Girls (U16 Girls Table Tennis) were all crowned County Champions.

23.11.11 On Wednesday 23rd November the Partnership held the annual U13 and U16 Table Tennis Tournament. The tournament was supported by Watford Jets Table Tennis Club and saw a high level of play. Watford Girls and Bushey Academy came oput strongest on the day, with Watford Girls winning both the U13 and U16 Girls titles and Bushey Academy the U13 and U16 Boys titles.

29.11.11 The Partnership held U12 and U14 Girls Basketball Tournaments this year which lead through to the Herts School Games. These took place on Tuesday 29th November at Queens' School. Westfield Communty Technology College were crowned champions in both age groups following a highly competitive tournament.

07.11.11 On Monday 7th November Staff from Schools within the Partnership were invited to a PE Co-ordinator Training Day for KS1 and KS2. Staff were given the opportunity to attend training courses in Fundamental Movement, KS2 Gymnastics, KS1 Virtual Multi Skills and Tag Rugby. The day was extrememly well attended and we hope that those who took part have been able to take ideas back to their Schools.

02.11.11 The Partnership held an U16 Badminton Tournament on Wednesday 2nd November 2011. The Tournament which was held at Queens' School saw Schools from within the local area come together to compete in the first round of the Center Parcs National Tournament. Again the standard of play was extrememly high and the tournament saw two new champions crowned in 2011. In the Girls Tournament Dame Alice Owens School finished in first place and in the Boys Tournament Watford Boys School were crowned Champions. Both teams will now go forward to represent the Partnership in the next round at the Herts School Games Winter Finals in December.

19.10.11 The Partnership held the U14 Badminton Tournament on Wednesday 19th October 2011 at Queens' School. A Boys Tournament and Girls Tournament took place and some high quality badminton was on display. In the Girls Tournament Dame Alice Owens School were crowned Champions and in the Boys Tournament Watford Boys School successfully defended their title. Both teams will now go through to represent the Partnership at the Herts School Games Final in December and we wish them good luck!

07.10.11 Year 6 Students from Shenley Primary School have been taking part in Cycle Training this week. Participants completed the Bikeability Level 1 earlier in the week and have been progressing through Level 2, where they have been learning to cycle safely on the local roads.
